Essential Functions:
- Drive commercial motor vehicle to deliver products to customer locations as dispatched
- Follow appropriate safety procedures to ensure vehicle anD Driver are always in safe operating status.
- Inspect and secure loads to ensure the safe transportation of goods
- Maintain accurate records of shipment as required by FMCSA, DOT, State, and Local laws
- Maintain driver licensing in accordance with legal requirements and compliance
- Provide customers with friendly, professional service focused on quality performance.
- Ensure proper handling of inventory, cash, and assets on a daily basis.
- All other tasks that are reasonably assigned by the supervisor.
- Valid Class D License and ability to qualify for DOT med card
- Clean driving record for previous 36 months
- Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while operating safely
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 40 lbs with or without accommodation on a regular basis
