Local Cdl-B Truck Driver

A Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Local CDL-B Truck Driver in Maspeth, NY. This position pays $26.85 per hour. to start, $31.05 at 12 months complete.

*Please be aware that our Maspeth Terminal is set to open later this year. In the interim, you will work temporarily out of the Carteret, NJ, and you’ll be provided an EZ Pass for commuting. 4 day work week, with an optional 5th day. Bunkrooms are available if you choose to stay overnight.*

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Completing pick up and deliveries to various location(s)
• Performing lift gate deliveries, including unloading and loading at stops as needed
• Insuring the security and safety of the tractor and freight; adhering to all FMCSA safety regulations and guidelines
• Building relationships through excellent communication with customers
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:

• Valid CDL-B Commercial Driver’s License
• Hazmat & Tank Endorsement Required with in 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of recent CDL B experience
• Currently hold a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• No more than three moving violations and or accidents within the last three years, subject to review
• Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance
