Are you a fun, energetic team player looking for an opportunity to learn and grow? Look no further! We are seeking individuals like you to join our team at Home2 Suites by Hilton Blacksburg, where you can live and work in the vibrant town of Blacksburg, VA.
What You'll Be Doing
As a valued member of our team, you'll be responsible for keeping our public areas clean and inviting. This includes maintaining the cleanliness of our lobby, public restrooms, vending areas, and more. You'll also have the opportunity to assist with deep cleaning projects and other duties as assigned. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that our guests have an exceptional experience during their stay.
Requirements
We value the basics – basic reading, writing, and math skills are required for this role. Some cleaning experience is preferred, but we're willing to provide training for the right candidate. Flexibility is key, as nights, weekends, and holidays may be required. Physical stamina is also important, as you'll need to be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds, stand and move about for extended periods, and handle objects and equipment. You'll also need to be comfortable working in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment. The schedule will vary, primary shifts from 7am - 3pm and occasional weekends from 3pm - 9pm.
