Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the Loans Applications Administrator will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our Salesforce loan system. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the loan system, collaborating with various internal and external teams to enhance functionality and resolve issues promptly. This role involves overseeing the maintenance, administration, and optimization of the loan software.

This position can be remote with occasional trips to Baltimore as needed.

DUTIES

Loans Application

  • Act as the SME on the Loans system and provide in-depth knowledge and guidance.
  • Manage loan application requests and issues, providing timely responses and resolutions.
  • Take the initiative to identify and proactively resolve issues, documenting all changes and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with third parties to identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring the smooth operation of the loan system.
  • Participate in coordination, testing, and communication of application changes.
  • Provide support during system implementations, offering insights and expertise to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Data management
  • Maintain data hygiene standards within the loan system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Execute database processes and file extractions for third-party entities, contributing to efficient data management.
  • Knowledge Management
  • Generate reports in Salesforce as needed by the Director of Loans Operations.
  • Update and maintain both system and user documentation.
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of training on process changes and how to use the software to promote business adoption of system capabilities and features.

Loans Operations

  • Work closely with the Loan Operations team to create reports, improve system efficiency, and address user concerns within Salesforce.
  • Lead monthly loan process reconciliation activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and collaborating with appropriate teams (e.g., Accounting)
  • Conduct monthly loan processes involving file extraction from Salesforce and file transmission to vendors such as new loans, credit reporting, and statement and letter generation.
  • Provide reports related to audit trails, adjustments, and other financial activities.
  • Assist in reaching out to clients when not focusing on ongoing projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 3-5 years working with databases and financial operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in being a subject matter expert, Application Administrator, or similar role.
  • Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Salesforce is highly desired.
  • Ability to anticipate priorities and work independently, while organizing work in view of deliverables required of the team; proficiency in carrying out multiple tasks efficiently, accurately, and on deadline.
