You and Your Job

As a Loan Review Officer you will be successful working independently, capable of substantiating conclusions, demonstrating expertise in objective credit risk management, regulatory alignment, and repayment analysis. Established foundation in the banking and finance sector with a thorough understanding of credit review techniques, including control procedures and principles.

Under the direction of the Loan Review Manager, assists with the comprehensive credit risk assessment of an assigned division's and/or region's credit quality, credit processes, risk concentrations and risk management practices. Assists with continuous monitoring and performs Loan Reviews to assess portfolio quality and credit risk management process. Provides prompt feedback to the Loan Review Manager on the results of scheduled Loan Review activities.

  • Process information logically in the review of credit files and related documentation, to ensure informed decision making and portfolio management standards for Rabobank, capable of making sound business decisions, in support of team objectives and individual goals.
  • Reliably organizes work; asks for guidance when needed; works effectively while efficiently prioritizes overlapping demands in alignment with agreed upon deadlines.
  • High level of commitment to work-product excellence, professional verbal and written engagements, all occurring in a highly collaborative environment.

To be considered for the Loan Review Officer role, you must have:

  • Minimum banking/lending experience of 3-5 years inclusive of financial and repayment analysis, demonstrating an overall understanding of credit review techniques, including control procedures and principles.
  • Experience in the presentation of objective ideas and opinions clearly, comprehensibly and correctly (verbal and written).
  • Ability to distinguish critical issues, including the materiality of impact based upon facts available, and differentiating between risk issue causes and effects.
  • Ability to travel regionally, up to 15%

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00

This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]'s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
