Job Description
The Processor Trainee’s responsibility includes timely, thorough, accurate processing, verification and packaging and submitting of data. It also includes accurate entry of data into the Encompass system. This role is one of support for tracking information and ensuring high quality loan document preparation in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Able to obtain required loan documentation
- Order credit verification and third-party services for entry into Encompass
- Verifies files and document for accuracy and completeness
- Follows up and collects missing documents or signatures
- Review purchase contracts for dates, notes and signatures
- Review appraisal and title documentation
- Prepare and organize loan documents for review and approval
- Work with automated underwriting systems (DU/LP)
- Set and maintain proper expectations with all parties on the loan
- Effectively manage loan pipeline at various volume levels
- Submits approved mortgage loan file to closing party for settlement
- Records data on status of loans, including number of new applications and loans approved
- Maintain strong knowledge of State/Federal regulations to maintain loan file compliance
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Prior Mortgage Experience
- Positive attitude
- Confidentiality is a must
- Efficient time management skills
- Excellent communication skills both in the office and on the telephone
- Organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize several tasks under specific time constraints
- Work independently and as a team

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
