This individual will be responsible for daily loan servicing of all Loss Mitigation loans and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
Essential Functions
- Complete monetary/maintenance transactions based on the instructions of Loss Mitigation personnel
- Complete charge-offs, dispositions, and settlements in a timely manner
- Reconcile and balance General Ledger accounts daily
- Track expense invoicing on loan history per Loss Mitigation instructions
- Respond to customer inquiries with exemplary customer service in established service agreements
- Process short term loan modifications
- Research and correct errors as applicable
- Ensure total document and data integrity attributes to comply with CECL data points
- Assist with core system release testing and merger-related cleanup as necessary
- Train new hires to ensure consistency and standardization in processing and understanding Loss Mitigation transactions
- Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations
- Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency
- Work as part of a team
- Work with on-site equipment
Education + Qualifications preferred
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of banking experience
- 3-5 years of customer service experience
