The Loan Assistant position is a support role within the lending department. Employees in this position excel in attention to detail and customer service. This is a full-time position Monday - Friday with the full Heritage Bank employee benefit package. This is an entry level position which provides the foundation of a career in banking.
JOB DUTIES included but not limited to assisting Loan Officers and other support staff with the preparation of loan documentation. Duties include processing advance/pay down requests, compiling of credit file as well as obtaining pertinent documentation. Will assist with various reports, internal filing fee reconciliation, and with Laser Pro Administration. Will assist with customer inquiries.
QUALIFICATIONS: Equivalent to a high school education minimum. At least 2 years of equivalent woirk experience preferred. Attention to detail. Math aptitude. Verbal and written communication. Working knowledge of computers. Ability to interact effectively with other bank personnel, management, co-workers and customers. Ability to work with little or no supervision. Coordinate multiple tasks and organize projects. Sound judgment, courtesy, tact and diplomacy. Ability to deliver unmatched customer service. This position cannot be done remotely.
