Job responsibilities: Load trucks and railcars in timely manner
Move railcars to be picked up by Union Pacific.
Fill out the appropriate paperwork for trucks and railcars
Ensure all are properly sealed before leaving the plant.
Be in communication with Union Pacific for pick up and receiving of rail services.
Manage low-pro and High-pro area loading procedures.
Communication with JST for truck services pick up and depart.
Become a trainer for the operation of Rail King mover and end loader
Position Requirements
-An ability to stand for long periods
-to be capable of working in awkward positions such as on your back, bent over, etc. for prolonged periods
-being able to work in the cold and heat weather.
Able to lift at least 60 pounds
-would be responsible for setting up the floor in preparation for production in their respective areas or anywhere else they are asked to help
-having the willingness to learn and take initiative while on the job.
-be capable of following orders even under high-stress situations.
-some experience with computers would also be optimal.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach clean, and service machinery.
- Must be able to visually inspect machines.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
- The environment that individuals will be working in can fluctuate. Employees will be required to stand for anywhere between 4 – 8 hours, sometimes on a platform. They will frequently have to push, pull, or lift to 50 pounds and occasionally push, pull, or lift to 50 pounds. The noise level is often loud, and hearing protection must be worn at all times. Additional PPE that may be required are safety glasses, steel-toed boots, hard hats, face shields, and, in some cases, fall protection.
