Job Summary
Perform trailer inspections to determine cleanliness, damage, and roadworthiness.
Fully comply with all contamination control procedures
Perform unsupervised off site rail car offloading requirements and procedures as needed.
Using Semi tractor and trailer on company property only. Load drop trailers and spot-loaded trailers for pick up.
Ensure all paperwork associated with the position is complete and accurate.

Requirements:
- Perform trailer inspections to determine cleanliness, damage, and roadworthiness.

- Perform unsupervised off-site rail car off-loading requirements and procedures as needed.
- Maintain practical knowledge of steps and inspection requirements necessary to perform a clean, dry and odor free dry bulk container tank wash.
- General knowledge of the methodology and terminology used in the industry to understand the types of products and their handling properties.
- Load drop and spot trailers. Maximize truckload weights within legal limits.
- Ensure all paperwork associated with the position is complete and accurate
- Accurately measures railcars, records each transfer, and communicates product inventories
- Perform other functions as deemed necessary by Calumet Management and Transload Supervisor
- Report to management any issues during daily operations
- Use the computer to create shipping and delivery documents for truck billing.
- Inspects perimeter fencing, locks, etc., to maintain proper facility security
COMPETENCIES:
- Ability and willingness to participate in terminal emergency response
- Ability to operate facility systems including computer systems
- Basic math and computer skills
- Exemplary oral and written communication skills
- Able to speak effectively with all levels of Management
- Must be organized and proficient in record-keeping
- Must be able to complete all required training mandated by the company training department and Transload Supervisor
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Have and maintain a valid driver license
- Must be able to work any shift
- Ability to effectively understand and communicate, written & verbally, in English
- Previous experience working as an oil loader or as a trans loader, transfer of product from one mode of transportation to another, preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Physical lifting, pushing, and pulling of 50 or more pounds
- Climb ladders on tanks, truck trailers, and rail cars

Pay: $20.00 - $24.08 per hour
