Loader Operator

aaa auto parts has a job opportunity for the right team member to work in, around and on motor vehicles in a family owned and operated company. This role would require you to operate a heavy forklift (Sellick S160) to lift and move vehicles and perform related yard duties at our Rosemount MN location.

Duties would include:

• Organizing incoming and outbound vehicles
• Maintaining yard cleanliness
• Moving large vehicle parts such as pick-up truck boxes, without damaging
• Lifting and moving up to 50 lbs by hand (regularly)
• Climbing in and out of a forklift or vehicle and lifting items (consistently)
• Operating a skid steer to back fill dirt in the yard and sweep asphalt
• Communicating with team throughout the day in person and by radio
• Working outdoors in the elements (rain, cold, heat) for extended periods
• Removing parts from vehicles (i.e., body panels, suspensions)

Skills needed for the role:

• Knowledge and ability to carefully remove automotive parts maintaining part quality
• Ability to handling stressful situations professionally
• Ability to manage time well and keep busy with tasks when there is downtime
• Ability to multitask throughout the day and prioritize multiple requests
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to problem solve and pay attention to detail
• A positive attitude and a friendly approach in dealing with team members and staff

Job Type: Full-time (Overtime is available)

Compensation: Employees in this position begin their role earning $20-$23 hour, with increased earning capacity in the form of a monthly incentive for pulling parts. Plan specifics will be discussed in depth during the interview process.
