SUMMARY
Loads and Unloads product and packs finished product to standards based on the customer specifications by performing required work order duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Understands and can obtain the necessary packing specifications for each job.
Assists Powder Inspector in recording number and type of units rejected and reasons for rejection.
Organize and prep the packing station with the requirements that are needed for jobs coming off the line.
Communicates and helps the Material Handler get materials in place prior to the production run.
Provides feedback to the Q.A Inspector, Powder Inspector, and Team leader concerning packing issues during the production run.
Insures that counts and paperwork for work orders is accurate.
Completes assigned paperwork such as time sheets, work orders, QA tracking logs.
Maintains shop housekeeping based on assigned activities.
Follows all safety procedures.
Assists other areas as assigned by the Team leader.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small Group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
