We are seeking a Load Planner/Dispatcher. Knowledgeable and experienced in the dry van industry.

• Load Planners must have extensive knowledge of industry regulations to minimize empty miles by planning loads in the most efficient manner possible and understand the network and freight plan.
• Load Planners must be able to analyze situations, and develop and implement plans of action and adapt to constantly changing circumstances
• Coordinate loads with Drivers/Trucks
• Responsible for power unit assigned to fleet
• Communicate with drivers through phone calls, Go motive, etc..
• Support Driver with needs to ensure load is delivered safety and on time
• Communicate Driver Work Schedule to a driver and make sure drivers have a clear understanding of schedule and expectations
• Communicate issues with supporting departments regarding breakdowns, safety issues, driver issues, etc…
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations
• Perform additional duties assigned by leadership

Knowledge of geography is essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $850.00 - $1,000.00 per week
