Description
The LMS Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management of the learning management system. The role is responsible for creating courses, lessons, campaigns, and reports and completing regular data & metrics management. The role also contributes to system configurations, troubleshooting, and ongoing implementation of LMS to drive ATC's organizational strategy forward.
- Identify and scope training and education requirements through the application of professional knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design, development, and evaluative principles.
- Support training in accordance with established technical guidance and learning theory practices.
- Develop courseware utilizing the Analysis, Design, Development, implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) process.
- Integrate approved courseware and media into customer supplied learning management system(s).
- Maintain practical knowledge of emerging technologies and processes for learning theory, curriculum development, remote learning, learning management systems, and instructional systems design.
- Evaluate effectiveness of training using assessment, learning outcomes, reports, etc. and recommend/implement improvements as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and hold a Top-Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top-Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning Management, Educational Technology or similar from an accredited college or university.
- Professional knowledge of, and experience with designing, implementing, and conducting remote learning systems utilizing academia recognized educational theories and practices.
- Knowledge and experience with self-paced asynchronous learning theory, principles, and instructional methodologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of instructional systems design and training program development.
- Knowledge and experience using the ADDIE instructional design model or similar models.
