Live on Horse caretaker

```Job Overview```
We are seeking a dedicated horse and property caretaker to join our team. As a caretaker, you will be responsible for the maintenance and care of our property, including equipment repair, barn and property upkeep and daily handling of horses (aprox 35 horses on property). The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspect of the barn work as well as multiple years of working with horses in this capacity and level. We have high level competition Horses and are looking for someone with attention to detail, as well as that same high level of care.

```Responsibilities```
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on farm machinery and equipment
- Repair and maintain fences, gates, and other structures
- General horse care, including feeding hay, grain & supplements, blanketing, monitoring health and turning horses out daily as well as performing night checks.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the property
- Operate equipment including Kubota tractor, manure spreader, utv, atv, arena drags, water trailer, and landscaping equipment
- Perform heavy lifting as required for various tasks

```Qualifications```
- Experience in equipment repair and mechanical knowledge
- Knowledge of horses and horse care ( minimum 3 years experience with horses required).
- Ability to handle animals safely and with care
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
