SalaryWe are hiring for a position that is very similar to adult foster care. This is a Live-In Caregiver job. We have a couple of different openings. The jobs involve living in a home to help support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes in Lenoir City and Loudon, TN. The pay rate is approximately $1600 every other week. There are some variables and that would be discussed in more detail during an interview. In this job, the people you support become like family members. Your time off would mostly be during the week Monday - Friday 8:30am - 2:30pm, while another staff member picks them up to take them out in the community. Once they come home from the community, they are with you that evening, overnight, and into the next morning. They do not go out in the community on the weekends, so they are with you throughout the weekend. This job is definitely a big commitment. Experience in this field is preferred.
