We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with disabilities or medical conditions maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients (1 client, in his home) with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities or autism in their daily routines and activities
- Provide direct support to individuals with dementia or memory loss
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement care plans
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to work with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
- Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and sensitivity
- Reliable transportation to travel between client locations
