Live Goods Merchandiser

The start date for this role is APPROXIMATELY March 18th- 25th. We are seeking candidates that are okay with a possible fluctuating start date and hours throughout the year.

Our Live Goods Merchandiser role is a good fit for those who are self-starting, plant and outdoor enthusiasts, who are available to begin work in the morning. We service the stores daily and are in the stores Monday-Saturday during high season. Our Live Goods Merchandiser role often pairs nicely alongside other merchandising and GIG income streams! National Garden Service, founded in 2019, is a full-service, Live Goods merchandising company that provides exclusive outdoor floral services for The Kroger Company (and subsidiaries) nationwide. • #744 2864 Charlestown Rd New Albany IN 47150

As a Live Goods Merchandiser, your workday will include:

• Receive and stage a variety of outdoor plants
• Build and maintain product displays
• Water all plant materials
• Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed
• Ensure proper signage is in place
• Maintain a safe and clean display area
• Remove and record expired plant material
• Interacting with store personnel and customers
• Develop a positive working relationship with store management and associates
• Complete report for each store serviced
• Document every visit using the Repsly app where available

As a Live Goods Merchandiser, you will be required to:

• Have a smart phone
• Have dependable transportation
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Lift, push and carry up to 30 lbs repetitively
• Understand and execute planograms
• Work outdoors in all elements
