Summary
This position is responsible for instructing the Little Kickers soccer program.
Essential Functions

1. Effectively utilize drills as well as games to make experience both informative and fun.

1. Identify where participants could improve their level of play.
2. Ensure participants are always in a safe environment.
3. Communicate with parents, participants, and other instructors.
4. Communicate field and equipment related concerns with Activities Manager.

Physical Requirements

1. Ability to demonstrate physical fitness to include frequent light to occasional heavy lifting (up to 30 lbs.) standing, and walking for long periods of time, bending, pushing, and pulling.
2. Able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time and intermittently.
3. Ability to reach with hands and arms, push items overhead, occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
4. Ability to talk, hear, and see.

Competencies

1. Knowledge on the fundamentals of soccer.
2. Strong communication skills.
3. Ability to communicate clearly to small groups.
4. Ability to provide leadership, instruction, and motivation participants.

Skills

1. The knowledge of various soccer skills and rules.

Abilities

1. Communicate effectively with participants and parents.
2. Give clear and concise instructions.

Required Education and Experience

• Entry Level
• 1 year soccer experience

Preferred Education and Experience

• Coaching soccer in an organized league setting.

Additional Eligibility Requirements

• Must pass State and Federal Background Checks
