We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to become a part of our medical malpractice team! You will provide overall support to attorneys.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and summarize medical records
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
- Research and retain expert witnesses
- Assist with file maintenance and record retention
- Assist with trial preparation
Qualifications:
- Paralegal Certification (ABA-approved paralegal program)
- Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field
- Familiarity with medical records
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
