Responsibilities
Join the State Farm Law Department as a paralegal in the Litigation Unit, located in either Bloomington, IL at State Farm Corporate Headquarters or the Chicago, IL Claim Litigation office. You will collaborate with a team to conduct investigations, handle discovery, and assist with factual research. This role involves direct client communication, project participation, and requires attention to detail, critical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities independently. This hybrid role entails both in-office and virtual work arrangements, with mandatory office hours for all hybrid positions that may change based on business needs.

Qualifications
- Prior experience as a paralegal, paralegal degree/certificate, relevant coursework in legal studies, or similar qualifications
- Preferred 3+ years of experience in civil litigation
- Experience in a legal environment and familiarity with legal processes
- Proficiency in legal research, writing, database usage, electronic document management, case management software, and Microsoft Office
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
