Litigation Attorney (Hybrid)

Description:

Downtown Plymouth law firm is growing and has a Litigation Attorney position immediately available. We have a sophisticated and diverse practice including commercial and civil litigation, divorce and family law, criminal, real estate, estate planning and probate.

• The ideal candidate will possess experience in the areas of family law and criminal defense, have exceptional oral, written, communication and interpersonal skills; established research and writing capabilities; the ability to independently manage a case load and meet deadlines; and the ability to build and foster client relationships. Membership in the Michigan State Bar is required.
• Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to all aspects of litigation, legal research, drafting and filing complaints, drafting pleadings, motions, mediations, depositions, attending court hearings.
• Manage docket of cases.
• Manage all aspects of litigation including depositions, legal research, writing, and trials.
• Drafting demands for settlement and litigation.
• Conducting attorney portion of new client intakes.
• Coordinate with paralegals.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
