Job description

RATE:$30.65 / hour

  • Operation of Manufacturing Filling Equipment in both Liquids and Salt Department.
  • Responsible for all Quality and Production KPIs associated with his/her assigned production line.
  • Sanitation and CIP of Filling Equipment including lines, fillers, portable tanks, pumps, scales, hoppers, and hoses.
  • Additional operating responsibilities include: Box maker, print and apply label applicators, check weigher, case sealers, palletizer operation, floor and table scales, hand bag sealer, Quality Verification Stations, and Forklift Driving
  • - staging and delivering , and other duties as assigned by Team Leader and/or Manager/Supervisor.
  • Follow all applicable facility health, safety, and environmental requirements (e.g. PPE policy) and procedures for reporting incidents and/or injuries per the PepsiCo Employee Handbook, including having the authority to immediately address safety risks.
  • Assist in continuous improvement of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, GEHSMS programs and procedures though active participation in the near miss/good catch program.

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe working condition by following, using, promoting, and enforcing all FDA, OSHA and EPA regulations, PepsiCo's GMP and safety rules, policies, and procedures as well as using his/her PPE or other safety equipment while performing any job.

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to drive a forklift and have forklift certification
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision
  • Detail orientated and ability to organize workload
  • Ability to operate machinery
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts and overtime
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Self-driven to work and learn new skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for long periods of time (6+ hours/day)
  • Ability to sit, stand, squat, bend, go up/down stairs and twist for long periods of time (6+ hours/day)
  • Must have a positive work attitude
