The Linen Room Operator is responsible for the pressing, distribution and storage of rental linen and other related supplies.
Position Tasks & Activities:

• Inspect and Check used rental linens in, count and sort into bins
• Spray/bleach, wash/dry linens in-house and/or at a laundromat
• Iron Linens, label and prepped for rental clients.
• Sorting, assembling and wrapping linen packs
• Inventory control - recording damage linen and/or counting new product

Education, Skills & Requirements:

• No linen experience needed - willing to train.
• Enjoy the day-to-day routine in a fast pace environment
• Ability to learn quickly and retain a lot of steps in the process
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and adjust to last minute orders
• In the rental business, punctuality, reliability and teamwork are a must.
• Must have work experience
• Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently and safely.
• Must have full range of motion and dexterity.
• Must have the Ability to stand for up to 8 hours in a day
• Must have an ability to be self-directed
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours, including weekends.

• Hours: This is a 30 - 40 hr a week position with potential for additional hours during the busy seasons.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
