Base Pay Range:
$51,228.00 - $76,842.00
Job Summary:
If you are a Class A CDL Truck Driver looking to join a company on a mission to make a difference, then this is a great opportunity for you! Our Vehicle Transporters will play a critical role in Vroom's growth strategy by facilitating the safe, timely movement of our customers' new rides between our reconditioning facilities and delivery hubs.
**Hub Location is Indianapolis, IN but will fly to support other hubs nationwide regularly**
($75 per diem + paid travel expenses)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Driving and transporting vehicles to and from Vroom locations
  • Loading, securing and transporting vehicles on to a large car hauler
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high energy
  • Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in working order at all times
  • Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
  • Track and report working hours
  • Adhere to company rules and regulations
  • Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions
  • Comply with DOT regulations
  • Make safety a priority at all times
  • Report all accidents, incidents, or unusual occurrences to dispatch office immediately; submit written reports on accidents, experiences, or unusual circumstances as required
  • Proficient using GPS and other routing systems
  • Other duties as required

Job Requirements:
  • Must be open to varying shifts
  • Must be open to traveling to various Hub locations
  • Valid and current Class A CDL with clean driving record
  • 2 Years of continuous experience as a Class A CDL truck driver (9 car, high rail hauler preferred, not required)
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Maintain a DOT Medical card
  • 21+ years old
  • Clean driving record with no moving violations in the last 3 years
  • Must pass a DOT Physical, background check, and drug screen
  • Be skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles
  • Able to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand, and climb as required to secure a vehicle
  • Able to stand, walk, stretch, stoop, push and pull
  • Able to work in an outdoor environment
  • Able to use safety equipment, including non-slip shoes, gloves, and other personal protective equipment
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission
  • Be alert, focused, and detail-oriented
  • Possess great physical stamina and focus during long driving shifts
  • Be a self-starter who works well independently
  • Strong knowledge and enthusiast of cars and trucks a plus
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. at a time
