Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met in the kitchen
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development
- Handle and store food properly to maintain freshness and quality
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the culinary department
- Follow dietary restrictions and special requests for meal preparation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook is preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling procedures
- Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong knife skills for food preparation
