Marché Bacchus, selected "Best French Restaurant in Las Vegas" and a Top 10 Vegas Restaurant, is looking for an experienced, energetic and enthusiastic Line Cooks to join our team, led by Culinary Director, Chef Bradley Ogden.
Job Description
- Prepare dishes following the recipe to produce consistent results
- Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
- Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking appetizers and main dishes.
- Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance
- Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
- Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
- Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
- Know and comply with standard cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen practices
- Portion all the products, follow the recipes, and always ensure the plate presentation looks beautiful
- Keep it clean! Follow the sanitation standards, make sure your work station stays clean and organized, and follow all of the food handling standards
Qualifications:
* Must possess strong knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment
* Knowledge of proper food handling
* Must be able to multi task and handle high volume kitchen atmosphere.
* 2-3 years LINE COOK experience
* Ability to accurately execute a recipe
* Must have a good attitude and be a fast learner.
* Ability to work days, nights and weekends for scheduled events is required
* Valid health card, ID and proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
* Ability to stand for long periods of time
* Ability to lift 50 pounds.
