Job Summary: As an evening shift Seasonal Line Cook at Estero Country Club, you will be an integral part of our culinary brigade, responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to delight our members and guests. Your culinary skills, attention to detail, and passion for the art of cooking will contribute to the exceptional dining experiences we offer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare and execute a variety of dishes, following recipes and quality standards.
- Cooking Techniques: Employ various cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, roasting, and frying, to achieve desired flavor and texture.
- Menu Execution: Contribute to the preparation and presentation of menu items with precision and consistency.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet our quality and presentation standards.
- Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff, including chefs, sous chefs, and fellow Line Cooks, to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing food inventory, including stock rotation and proper storage.
- Adaptability: Flexibility in working different shifts, primarily evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume, upscale dining establishment is preferred.
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional dishes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
