We invite you to join our NorCal Imaging team as a Limited X-Ray Technician. This full-time opportunity will have a Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm schedule, and is located at our outpatient imaging practice in Walnut Creek, CA. The center currently provides diagnostic imaging services to patients in a friendly and comfortable environment. In this Limited X-ray Tech position you'll get to:
- Perform high quality digital X-ray exams on incoming patients (within the legal scope of your license).
- Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns.
- Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
- Respond to physician questions regarding exams.
- Answer phones and greet incoming patients and visitors.
- Register patients, perform insurance verification, and collect co-pays.
- Coordinate with office staff for timely care of patients.
- May on occasion travel to our nearby centers to receive training and/or help with coverage.
- Participate in various projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements
We're looking for dependable and professional candidates with BLS certification issued by AHA, a CA State Limited X-ray Technician Permit (MUST INCLUDE/COVER DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY, CHEST, EXTREMITIES, SKULL, AND TORSO-SKELETAL), successful completion of a limited X-Ray Technician program, and a High School Diploma. The ability to multi-task, excellent customer service skills, great communication skills, medical terminology knowledge, computer skills, and the ability to lift 25 lbs are also a must! Recent X-ray work experience is preferred.
Pay Range: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
