Position: Limited X-ray Technologist
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday.(M-F), 8AM -4:30PM
Location: Downtown, LA
Start date: Asap
Pay: 35$ to 40$
Job description:
We’re looking for experienced and professional candidates who can independently
perform all outpatient X Ray Tech exams and procedures with high-quality results.
Qualifications:

• Perform high-quality digital X-ray exams on incoming patients (within the legal scope of your license).
• Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Respond to physician questions regarding exams.
• Answer phones and greet incoming patients and visitors.
• Register patients, perform insurance verification, and collect co-pays.
• Coordinate with office staff for timely care of patients.
• May on occasion travel to our nearby centers to receive training and/or help with coverage.
• Participate in various projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

We're looking for dependable and professional candidates with BLS certification issued by AHA, a CA State Limited X-ray Technician Permit (MUST INCLUDE/COVER DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY, CHEST, EXTREMITIES, SKULL, AND TORSO-SKELETAL).
Successful completion of a limited X-Ray Technician program, and a High School Diploma. The ability to multi-task, excellent customer service skills, great communication skills, medical terminology knowledge, computer skills,
Recent X-ray work experience is preferred.
