Limited Permit MHC-LP - Remote - Part-Time

Join us on this fulfilling journey as we're currently on the lookout for a part-time, fully remote, NYS Limited Permit (MHC-LP) mental health counselor or eligible to apply for a Limited Permit.

If you have a strong commitment to helping others and are eager to evolve as a clinician and future leader, this opportunity is for you. Our clientele primarily consists of individuals dealing with anxiety, addiction, or anger-related issues, seeking highly effective, evidence-based approaches.

Responsibilities

-Deliver short-term and long-term individual therapy to adults using evidence-based interventions.

-Build and sustain rapport, fostering a strong therapeutic alliance with clients.

-Collaborate with colleagues to encourage an open exchange of ideas and experiences.

-Demonstrate a commitment to remaining culturally competent, culturally sensitive, and trauma informed.

-Maintain progress notes, chart notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.

-Actively engage in ongoing professional development and supervision opportunities.

Qualifications

-Ability to apply for a Limited Permit (MHC-LP) from the NYS Office of Professions and practice under supervision.

-Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-Willingness to work with a caseload of up to 27 clients per week.

-W2 Commission-Based Position ($40/Session). Commission is increased once you are fully licensed

-One Hour Weekly Supervision with clinical hours that will count towards full licensure (NYS Office of Professions does not permit Limited Permit holders to be employed as independent contractors-1099).
