About DMS Software:
DMS is a game changing software for dealers to automate non-revenue generating activities, track operations and improve profits by assisting dealers with managing their Parts, Service, Sales, Storage, Marina, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Rental. Our DMS software helps all departments in a dealerships to function smoothly by creating a central data warehouse for inventory levels, ordering, services, and customer information. Our solutions are designed to help manage dealer operations by tracking and storing data from every department and delivering information that will assist dealerships in making successful business Solutions.
Position Summary
We have an immediate opening available for a Remote Outside Sales Executive. This is an outstanding senior-level Sales role. This role will focus on generating new sales to large Recreation Dealerships in the Powersports, Marine and RV Industries. In this position, you will be responsible for generating new sales opportunities either through cold calls, emails, trade shows, or by fielding incoming calls. A significant amount of time will be spent on prospecting in a designated sales territory. 80% of your time will be spent on the phone either managing leads, deals, or generating upgrade sales. You will achieve an annual assigned sales plan, working under the guidance of Sales Manager. Excellent sales skills with highly proficient communications skills are needed - Have the freedom to use your skills to build relationships and identify exciting opportunities within Lightspeed!!
Position Responsibilities & Essential functions
  • Make outbound sales calls to generate leads and further qualify the prospects' needs.
  • Territory management of designated sales territory, including billing issues, support issues, hardware and software questions, working with billing & admin departments to resolve implementation issues.
  • Consult with prospects to find out their business needs and how Lightspeed's products can help resolve or manage their business needs.
  • The main responsibility will be to sell Starter Package DMS and layered applications.

Qualifications & Job Requirements
  • 2-years previous sales experience desired.
  • 2-year previous phone sales experience or other heavy phone work is desired.
  • Knowledge of RV, Marine, Golf, or Trailer industries is a significant advantage
  • Knowledge of finance/insurance and technology industries a plus
  • Knowledge of CRM software a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail orientated and work well in a team environment
  • Must be proactive and open to learning and trying new sales techniques
  • PC literate with knowledge of Windows-based applications and hardware: Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Willingness to travel up to four times a year to tradeshows and dealerships
