Job Description: MUST HAVE: Valid forklift certification
Maintain a neat, clean and safe working environment as per Covanta regulation
" Inspect delivers for discrepancy or damage
" Report damaged inventories for record-keeping and reimbursement
" Coordinate and handle freight and movement of equipment
" Keep an organized allocation of inventory placed in warehouse
" Cross-verify the monthly report at the end of each month
" Ensure proper completion of documentation to place an order and make a purchase
" Generate a material received report (MRR) timely
Storekeeper Requirements and Qualifications
" Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
" Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
" Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations
" Excellent written and verbal communication skills
" Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management
" Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
" Ability to safely and legally operate a forklift
" 2+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping
" Valid forklift certification
" Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 lbs
