Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk
Location: Aurora, IL 60540
Duration: 12 Months (High possibility for temp to perm)
Pay Rate: $16/hr on W2
Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Shipping/Receiving Specialist
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• STRONG COMPUTER SKILLS
• Inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according to blueprints, parts manuals, company or military standards, and other specifications, using precision measuring instruments and devices.
• Compares quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
• Prepares shipments for commercial conveyance; determines most economical and efficient shipping method.
• Uses UPS/FedEx shipping transactions for parcel and freight shipments.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Demonstrated understanding of material supply and flow in a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements:
• Frequently: carry 5+ pounds
• Occasionally: lift 25+ pounds, and push/pull greater than 100 pounds
Education Level: GED or High School Diploma with strong math skills
