Light Duty Equipment Repair Employee
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled mechanic to safely perform maintenance and repair of Light Duty Equipment including quarter to one-ton pickup trucks, fork lifts, boom trucks, skid steers, lube trucks or other Light Duty Equipment.
Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic, replacement and repairs on engines, transmissions and transaxles, manual drive train and axles, suspension, steering, brakes, clutches, AC units and electric motors
• Perform mechanical and lubrication preventative maintenance including oil and lube service, coolant system flush, transmissions services, filter and gasket checks, checking of water pumps etc.
• Perform work area inspections
• Maintain Work Orders, a clean and safe work areas
• May perform welding tasks, such as Carbon Arc and MIG
• May operate equipment including forklifts, cranes, and small mobile equipment

Requirements:

• High School Diploma preferred
• At least 1 year experience in Light Duty Equipment mechanical/maintenance
• Knowledge of basic electrical
• Ability to read and use schematics
• Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists)
