The Lift Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Lift Operations across The Summit’s four base areas. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of ski lifts, magic carpets, or other conveyance/transportation systems including mountain bike lifts in the summer season. The Lift Operations Manager is tasked with coordinating staff, implementing safety protocols, and optimizing the overall guest experience.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred but not required.
  • 3 plus years in leading lift operation teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain safety protocols.
  • Proven experience in Lift Operations or a related field, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Proven ability to build alliances across functions and departments.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards that are required to remain compliant.

  • A self starter who's second nature is looking for ways to improve processes
  • Knowledge and experience with computer systems and Microsoft Office 365 preferred

Wage and Benefit Info:

The wage range for this positions is:  from $26 to $31.50/hr (DOE).

Benefits include: health, dental, vision

Team member will accrue PTO and will earn 2 weeks or more in a 12 month period.

All individuals may contribute to the 401(k).  An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff).

All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
