Job description

The Lifetime Learning Program, within the Office of Engagement, coordinates faculty lectures, hosts extended and one-day learning seminars, features a faculty blog, promotes the alumni online library databases, and creates faculty podcasts and vodcasts for alumni, friends, and families of the University.
Job Function:Assisting in marketing, researching, data entry, and staffing the Lifetime Learning programs. Work remotely and staff occasional on-Grounds events.
The desired employee will have good writing and grammar skills, data entry skills, experience with social media, and knowledge of computer programs (i.e., Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with Canva is a plus.
Duties will consist of: researching information about potential speakers, posting events on alumni and community calendars, creating graphics and posts for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, checking registrants in at events, and data entry.
Qualifications: A student is needed to assist the Lifetime Learning Program 8 - 10 hours per week. This position is for Summer 2023.
Position Compensation: $17.98 Hourly

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
