Liferay Developer (7.4)

We are currently seeking a Liferay (7.4) Developer - (Remote) to join our client's team at Frisco, Texas (US-TX), ). (REMOTE Opportunity)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement end-to-end solutions using Liferay Portal
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design efficient solutions.
• Create and maintain Liferay themes, portlets, extensions, and other customizations.
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of Liferay applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Liferay deployment.
• Follow Agile and Scrum methodologies for project execution.
• Conduct unit testing and provide support for integration and system testing.

Requirements:

• We are seeking a Liferay Developer that has both back-end and front-end Liferay experience
• Minimum mandatory 5-8 years of significant IT experience in Java/JavaEE technologies. AWS; React; Java.
• Strong understanding of Liferay Portal and web portal technology (Liferay version 7.4)
• Excellent knowledge of Java 8+, Java EE 7/8, and related concepts
• Experience with frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
• Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Working experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps processes
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
