We are seeking a Life Skills Specialist/Case Manager to join our team in our Montgomery County, Colmar, PA, location.
This role is responsible to work with individuals with serious, persistent mental health illness to develop necessary skills to live, learn, work, and socialize within the residential program and the larger community. Services provided in group and one to one modality.
Provides services such as by not limited to:
- Teaching and Instruction
- Encouraging positive change
- Skill demonstration and practice
- Promoting individual wellness, self-management, and recovery
- Assisting in the restoration and/or improvement of self-care and social skills
- Facilitating effective strategies for strengthened independent living and the achievement of self-sufficiency goals
- Exposing individuals to academic, vocational and employment training and resources
- Providing services to those who cannot have their needs met by group activities.
- Facilitating culturally relevant activities directed toward improved social relationships.
- Implements the daily schedule of activities and engages residents in those activities.
- Provides curriculum that will help individuals learn to become active in the community, gaining independence in use of public transportation, budgeting, shopping, and accessing social, spiritual, and recreational outlets.
Earn $18.64 to $21.93 / hour.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Certification in Psychiatric Rehabilitation- preferred, but not required.
- Experience working with individuals with behavioral health challenges.
