Form of workIntroduction: We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Life Skills Coach to join our team and to work as a helpmate to individuals with developmental disabilities. The Life Skills Coach will assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management, and provide companionship and support to ensure that each individual has the opportunity to live a beautiful life. Responsibilities: Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance Assist with medication management and administration, as directed by a healthcare professional Guide individuals in preparing meals, providing assistance as needed to ensure safety Provide companionship and engage in activities such as reading, conversation, light exercise, arts and crafts, and exploration of the community Provide guidance to individuals on how to complete light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, basic cleaning, and yard work Assist with errands and transportation to appointments, using your personal vehicle as needed Report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate staff member Record activities of the day, medications given using proper forms and technology Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Compassionate and patient demeanor Ability to follow care plans and adhere to medication schedules Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility, as needed Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Safe insured/registered vehicle Perks: Competitive salary Paid time off Opportunities for advancement Good attendance Trip Lottery W.O.W Swag awards Positive and supportive work environment Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Mileage Reimbursement View all jobs at this company
