American National is seeking a Life Insurance Processor in Galveston, TX. You will be responsible for performing policy disbursements and using appropriate software to enter and update data.
Essential Functions
Learns and understands the rules and procedure involved with all CSSD disbursements, which includes premium loans, cash loans, and surrenders. They must follow these rules and procedures with every file they process.
Reads and interprets various LIA forms such as disbursement requests, ownership changes, name changes, and life applications.
Processes premium loans, cash loans, and surrenders in the Cyberlife system.
Understands how to use the workflow system and its capabilities as CSSD disbursements are processed in the workflow.
Communicates via phone and e-mail with both the various CSSD districts as well as the policyowner based on the set rules and procedures.
Understands the basic accounting involved with Cyberlife disbursements and is able to decipher accounting reports and perform the necessary adjustments to correct any rejects.
Performs a stop pay on disbursement checks as well as a reversal and reissue of these checks.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficient computer knowledge & data entry skills
- Basic math skills
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be team-oriented
