Licensed Vocational Nurse

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and assisting with various medical procedures. Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist with patient assessments and document findings in medical records
- Provide wound care and dressings
- Perform specimen collection processing and ensure proper labeling and documentation
- Assist with family planning services as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide patient education on various health topics
- Utilize electronic medical record systems (e.g., Cerner) for documentation purposes
- Coordinate durable medical equipment (DME) orders and ensure proper usage

Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with sonography systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $32.55 per hour
