Title:Licensed Vocational Nurse - LVN or Registered Nurse - RN
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Outpatient – Nephrology Clinic
Location: Houston, TX (Spring area) – occasional float to Kingwood
Schedule: Full-time; Monday – Friday; 8a – 5p
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience, plus a full package!
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The LVN duties to include but not limited to:
-Reviews and reports lab results
-Prepares patients for examination and treatment by escorting them from waiting area to exam room and obtaining urinalysis and vital signs. Documents all information into EMR
-Performs phlebotomy and administers injections; processes and prepares labs for pickup; assists with EKG’s, office procedures as needed and provides other patient care services as directed by the physicians and practice protocols
-Perform PA’s; lab orders, prescriptions, etc
REQUIREMENTS:
-Active Licensed Vocational Nurse license in the State of Texas
-Completion of an accredited Vocational Nursing Program
-At least 1 year of experience as an LVN in a medical office setting- nephrology/dialysis experience preferred
-Must have strong phlebotomy skills
