Licensed Vocational Nurse (Lvn), All Shifts

The Shores Post-Acute seeking an experienced LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) to join our team. As an LVN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Registered Nurses and healthcare team in delivering comprehensive patient care. You will work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes. • Position Type: Full Time, Part time, Per Diem
• Pay Range: $33 - $38.00 per hour ($2,000 Bonus is offered for full time roles - half paid out at 90 days and the second half will be paid out at 180 days.)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and medical histories of patients accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist physicians and registered nurses during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform routine procedures such as wound dressing changes, catheterizations, and tracheostomy care.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, reactions to medications, and overall conditions.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication regimens, and post-treatment care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a high standard of hygiene.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of California.
• Completion of an accredited vocational nursing program.
• New graduates are highly welcome
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques.
• Proficient in administering medications, injections, and various treatments.
• Excellent observational, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
