Licensed Vocational Nurse (Lvn)

Sungarden Terrace, a distinguished boutique Assisted Living and Memory Care community located in Lemon Grove, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Follow up on physicians' orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers, and report any changes in condition or pertinent clinical care information to physicians and families.
• Administer medications to an assigned group of residents according to physicians' orders, reporting any adverse reactions or clinical observations and documenting as necessary.
• Ensure resident care and service plans are meticulously followed by overseeing tasks of Medication Technicians and care providers.
• Make appropriate situational decisions and manage conflicts in a positive and constructive manner.
• Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports, ensuring compliance with CCL (Community Care Licensing).
• Conduct evaluations and assessments for new and returning residents.

• General understanding of resident retention and marketing.
• Ability to multitask and remain flexible and adaptable, with the capability to critically think and problem-solve in stressful or urgent situations.
• Proficient in verbal and written English with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities, adept at guiding and directing teams.
• Works with a sense of urgency while paying close attention to detail.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.

Requirements:

• Current unencumbered LVN license in California.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to work the defined schedule for this position, which may include weekends and holidays.
