Form of workPOSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides care to patients in the Bexar County Detention Centers. Monitors the condition and status of patients and delivers patient care that meets the standards of nursing practice. Assists in ensuring compliance with the established policies and procedures of University Health and Detention Health Care Services. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with University Health mission, vision, and values.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing is required.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
- Must possess an active vocational nursing license endorsed by the State of Texas.
- Must maintain current CPR certification.
- Hiring for Nights
- 12 Hour shifts
- Every other weekend off
