Licensed Therapist or Psychologist (LCPC, LGPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT)

We seek a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Private Practice. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals struggling with mental health issues. Your expertise and guidance will have a lasting impact on the lives of those you serve.

In this role, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, psychologists, and medical professionals, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients. You will provide counseling, therapy, and support services to individuals, and families, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique needs.

Licensed therapists experienced with children and or EMDR are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with mental health concerns
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
• Provide individual or couples therapy sessions
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Educate clients and their families on coping strategies and resources
• Advocate for clients and help them access necessary services
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
• Stay current on the latest research and best practices in the field

Requirements

• Master's degree or above in Social Work or related field
• Valid state of Maryland social work licensure LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC
• Strong knowledge of mental health conditions and treatment approaches
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Empathy and understanding of diverse populations
• Familiarity with community resources and support services
• Proficiency in electronic record-keeping systems
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time available for LMSW and LGPC, Contract

Pay: $35,000.00 - $81,130.65 per year

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
