Exceptional Wellness, Inc is a community-based mental health organization in Texas searching for Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), Licensed Professional Counselor Associates (LPC-As), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associates (LMFT-As), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), and Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associates (LCSWs) to lead counseling and psycho-therapeutic interventions. We provide wraparound case management, therapy, and psychiatry services to adults and children who manage mental illness and IDD.
**The therapist will NOT be responsible for scheduling intake assessments, gauging clients' treatment needs, and devising contextually sensitive treatment options, as this will be covered by our intake coordinators. You also will NOT need to provide case reviews, as this is covered by our directors. YOUR ONLY FOCUS IS PROVIDING EXCELLENT THERAPY SERVICES!**

- Provide a wide range of therapeutic modalities (solution focused, strengths based, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectal behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, EMDR) to meet individual treatment needs.
- Consulting with new clients to gauge their difficulties and resources.
- Addressing concerns through talk therapy and by modeling adaptive, sustainable behaviors.
- Conducting sessions with clients both in community and virtually.
- Promoting constructive self-reflection, helpful coping techniques, and nurturing relationships.
- Monitoring perceptions about and adherence to suggested treatment.
- Recording symptoms over time to ascertain the utility of interventions.
- Writing medical and suitable referral notes, as required.
- Staying warm, engaged, and receptive as you work to facilitate healing.
- Coordinating with the rest of the wraparound team to ensure the treatment plan is being correctly implemented across all points of care.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a Counseling-related stream.
- Active Clinical Licensure in the state of Texas.
- Registered and able to practice as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW or Associate.
- Willingness to work primarily with children.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to conduct client sessions both virtually (60%) and in person (40%).
