Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team. As a LPC, you will provide evidenced-based mental health support as part of an organization's EAP program. Position is part-time, 8 - 12 hours/week. No nights or weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Provide mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment within a clinic setting
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of behavioral health
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in counseling or a related field
- Current state licensure as a Professional Counselor
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in counseling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
