SalaryWe are hiring Licensed Professional Art Therapists or Licensed Associate Art Therapists at our Waldwick office in New Jersey to provide services to our child and adolescent clients. You will be providing art therapy, managing your own schedule and maintaining all documentation on our platform. A full time and part time position are available. 10-35 hours available. At 35 hours, a stipend for health insurance is available for W2 employees.
Responsibilities
- Providing creative arts therapy to teens and children
- Maintain communication with parents in a professional manner
- Keep professional documentation and maintain clients' files
- Keep a clean and organized office space
- Make referrals as needed
- Utilize creative directives for supporting clients with coping skills and expression
- Cooperate with other Art Therapists and medical personnel
- Apply best practices and be up to date with licensing and credentials
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Creative Arts Therapist
- Hands on experience with children and teens
- Experience in hospital or school settings will be considered an asset
- Excellent knowledge of English language
- Communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude
- User level computer skills
- Masters degree in Creative Arts Therapy
- Licensed Creative Arts Therapy in New Jersey
